KROGER MARKETPLACE

This Kroger Marketplace facility was built next door to the existing outdated Kroger store, and took the place of an existing strip mall, to provide a new grocery shopping experience to the community. The new store included all the typical grocery offerings along with a stone pizza oven, sushi bar, beer and wine bar, cheese bar, clothing retail and kitchen wares retail. The store was constructed on deep auger cast caissons and grade beam foundations and entire building pad was lime stabilized in order to build on the poor existing soils.
